CHAPTER 1

CHRIS & DOROTHY Our story started with these two, Chris and Dorothy Miano...

After moving all over the country for work, I finally arrived in Cincinnati. This is where our fate was to come into play. Lizeth had lived in Mexico all of her life. But when she came to visit her brother Octavio in Lexington, KY. Chris and Dorothy were to be married in Lexington. As you guessed it, I bumped into Lizeth while I was in town for the wedding.

She was working at the hotel where I stayed. We smiled at each other all weekend (I fell in love with her smile, just look at it, isn’t she beautiful?) but we didn’t say much. Nothing needed to be said. The spark had struck and the flame was ignited. Our love had just begun.

I had gone the whole weekend without saying much to her. When I checked out of the hotel, I was sad that I didn’t get to see her. I left to Chris and Dorothy’s house for breakfast before heading back to Cincinnati. As I was driving past the hotel, I noticed that I still had my Key to the room. This was my opportunity. I had one last chance to ask Lizeth out on a date. Sure enough she was working that day and she was in the lobby with her coworkers having lunch. I turned my key in and I mustered up all of my strength, and walked to her and took a deep breath and in one breath said: “I just had a friend who moved here and I will be visiting him occasionally and thought you might like to go to dinner with us sometime when I am in town visiting”. She stood there for a second and looked at her friend and said: “Huh?”

Her friend told me that she did not speak english and she couldn’t understand. So, I turned tail and started out the door thinking “Oh well, at least I tried.” But her friend stopped me and said in a very thick country accent, “No Wait! I can translate for you.”

I thought to myself “It couldn’t hurt to listen?” So I said: “OK”

She turned to Lizeth and said: “HHHHEEEE... WWWWAAAANNNNTTTTTSSSS... TTTOOO.. GGGGOOOOO.... OOOOUUUUTTTTT... WWWWIIIITTHHH… YYYYOOOOOOUUU… DDDOOO YYYOOOUUUU WWWAAAAANNNNNTTTT TTOOO GGGGOOOO OOOOOUUUUTTTT WWWWIIIIITTTHHH HHHIIIIMMM? And she said: “SI”.

And this was just the beginning!!!
